            A common English saying is that “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. This statement is accurate in the sense that what one individual considers beautiful is not necessarily what another individual may consider beautiful.Even though everyone knows what beauty is, many people struggle to define it and convince others to concur with their views. The idea of beauty is not just a physical appearance of a person or object. Rather, it is an understanding that gives some perceptual experience to one’s eyes, ears, intellect, and moral sense. Natural, powerful, real beauty, however, originates from within the heart of individuals and when it blossoms, it is expressed as a captivating, exquisite, and alluring spirit that is not easy to contain. That is where certain ideas originate, such as “Beauty is as beauty does,” or “Beauty comes from within.” Some people are captivated by inner strength of character. As a result, they may perceive someone to have a beautiful soul.Beauty has indeed been an interesting philosophical issue from different perspectives, one of which is that it is taken as a value that is dear to human beings. Many films have illustrated this aspect of beauty. Also, those things or people thought of as beautiful tend to be appreciated more by society.
          Beauty plays a very important and vital role in the society.It has huge impact on shaping one's behavior,attitude and mindset also.Beauty has always been categorized under outer appearance. But true beauty isn't all about physical traits a person has; true beauty lies within an individual.Men and women of all ages and races spend time ,money,
and try their hardest to bring out their outer beauty in order for them to impress others,but spend little or no time shaping their their inner beauty; their true beauty.
                 When we see a person for the first time, we always start with assessment of his/her physical beauty. Appearance is not a reliable guide to qualities that a person may have, because we cannot catch them with our eyes. Maybe that is the reason why sometimes parents are against friends of their children or against a person their child wants to marry. They see only skin-deep beauty, but appearance is deceptive, whereas their child knows this person from different sides and can judge him or her fairly.
             Just like in the old beliefs, modern philosophies concerning beauty were also questioned. For instance,there are quite a number of ugly truths and facts with a great deal of legitimacy yet without a pleasant sight. Therefore,defining beauty through truth can be defined as a situational concept. Ideally, the qualities of being youthful and truthful seem to summarize the whole idea on definition of beauty,
And finally beauty is not what we see it is what we feel......

  सौंदर्य       सौंदर्य सुंदरता... यावर मी काय बोलू!! माझा आधीच बऱ्याच जणांनी या बद्दल खूप काही लिहून ठेवलं आहे. पण तरीही काहीं बोलायचं असेल तर एवढाच म्हणेन की माझासाठी सुंदरता म्हणजे पहिल्या पावसा नंतर येणारा मातीचा सुगंध...लहान बाळाच रडण...आणि पक्ष्यांचं कीलबिलन(जरी आज काल ते जास्त ऐकायला मिळत नाही म्हणा) सुंदरतेचे माझा मते दोन प्रकार असतात... एक बाह्य सुंदर्य दुसरे ते आंतरिक सौदर्य आता काही जनं म्हणतील किती ते नावीन्य.. तरीही.... आता कोणती सुंदरता श्रेष्ठ हा ज्याचा त्याचा प्रश्न..पण बाह्य सुंदरता म्हणजे नेमके काय!! एखद्याचं दिसणं, राहणीमान, त्याचा आवाज, एखादा किती गोरा किव्वा काळा आहे, किती उंच किव्वा ठेंगणा आहे, दात सरळ आहेत की वाकडे आहेत, या वा इतर गोष्टींवरून सौंदर्याची केलेली तुलना म्हणजे बाह्य सुंदरता आणि आंतरिक सुंदरतेचे म्हणाल तर एखाद्याचे वागणे, लोकांना वागवणे, त्याचं बोलणं, त्याची नजर, डोळे नाही बरं का ! आणि त्याचं मन हे सगळं आंतरिक सौंदर्या मध्ये... आता हे झाले मानवी सौंदर्याचे पैलू, परंतु सुंदरता ही फक्त मानवी स्वरूपातच असते असं काही नाही. जगात अशा खूप साऱ्य
